This simple cabbage and ground beef dish makes a hearty, budget-friendly dinner in just minutes! Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil. Add 1 chopped onion and sauté until soft. Stir in 500g (1 lb) of ground beef, breaking it apart and cooking until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of paprika for extra flavor. 


Chop half a medium cabbage into thin strips and add it to the skillet. Pour in ½ cup of beef broth or water, then cover and let it simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cabbage is tender but not mushy. For added richness, sprinkle in shredded cheese just before serving.


Serve this delicious one-pan meal hot, either on its own or with a side of rice or crusty bread. Perfect for busy nights!
