🕒 Ready in: 20 minutes
🍽️ Serves: 2–3

Ingredients

  • 400g (about 2 fillets) salmon, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (or lime juice)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing)

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, sesame seeds, lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon:
Pat salmon pieces dry with a paper towel. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  2. Sear the salmon:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon bites and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the honey butter garlic glaze:
In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Glaze the salmon:
Return salmon bites to the pan and gently toss to coat in the sauce. Cook another 1–2 minutes until the glaze becomes sticky and caramelized.

  5. Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley or sesame seeds. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or as an appetizer.

💡Tips

  • Don’t overcook the salmon — it should stay tender and juicy inside.

  • Add a pinch of chili flakes if you want a spicy kick.

  • The glaze also works great on shrimp or chicken!
