Chicken Fry
Ingredients for the Chatpata Chicken Fry Recipe:Chicken - 500 gms (small curry cut pieces, with bones)
Tempering:
Garlic chopped -10 cloves around 10 gms
Ginger chopped- 1 inch -8-9 gms
Green chillies - 4 nos (8-10 gms)
Onions, chopped- 100 gms
Sauces:
Readymade Green Chilli sauce -3 tsp
Dark Soy Sauce- 2 tsp
Other Ingredients:
Pepper powder or crushed -1 tsp
Salt- 3/4 tsp
Oil-3-4 tbsp
Coriander leaves chopped -3 tbsp
Preparation:
Peel & fine chop the ginger, garlic, and onions. Also fine chop the green chillies.
Cut the chicken into small pieces.
Also chop the coriander leaves and keep aside to be used as garnish.
Process:
Heat oil in a pan and add the fine chopped garlic, ginger and green chillies.
Give a stir and sauté on medium heat for a minute.
Now add the chopped onions, mix and sauté on medium heat for around 5 mins till light brown in colour.
Now add the chicken pieces, pepper powder and salt. Mix and fry on medium heat for around 12-13 mins till it’s browned. Keep stirring every 3 mins for even browning and cooking.
Now add the green chilli sauce and soy sauce, mix and fry on low heat for around 3 mins till the chicken is cooked and browned.
Now garnish with chopped coriander leaves and mix and simmer on low heat for around 2 mins.
